Mothers’ Union has submitted a petition to David Cameron, calling on the Government to prohibit sexualised media, marketing and products being aimed at, or easily accessed by children under 16.

Liverpool Mothers' Union

Dear friend, It’s so lovely to be able to be in touch with you again and hope that you are enjoying this gorgeous sunshine. It’s so wonderful that God shows us such beauty in the new life that spring brings in to our gardens. As the bees fly in and out of the flowers for nectar, it reminds me of Mothers’ Union spreading the word of Christian Love. We have so many things to be thankful to God for, especially for all the good work members do in the Mothers’ Union. On May 14th the Board of Trustees and members are doing a sponsored walk along Southport Pier and around the lake. This will be about 2miles of easy walking suitable for buggies and mobility scooters. Members are asked to wear blue and yellow clothing and they will be carrying banners and balloons. We hope this will be a great family day for all and money raised will go to the Diocesan Fund.
