Liverpool Mothers union
On August the 16th the Mothers’ Union are marketing the life and works of our great organisation in Liverpool Cathedral with display boards and prayer stations around the Cathedral with families and visitors to take part in. We are very grateful to the Cathedral for allowing us to keep our displays up for a week and we hope this time will be productive, making people more aware of the work we do here in Liverpool and abroad. On September the 7th we are very honoured to have Reg Bailey, Chief Executive of Mothers’ Union, as our guest speaker at the Annual Rally which will be held again at Wigan. He will be telling us about the Bye Buy Childhood campaign which he has been heavily involved in. The 27th October is Cathedral Day and the Right Revd Richard Blackburn, Bishop of Warrington will be taking the service - he is a lovely speaker and we know that members will enjoy hearing what he will be preaching. So yet again, Mothers’ Union here in Liverpool are busy but we cannot do the many things we wish to do without your love and prayers which is so vital for the work we do. As we move through Lent we look forward to the coming of Easter to celebrate the oldest and most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ, the dawn of Easter Sunday with its message of new life is the high point of the Christian year. May we wish you a very Happy Easter With love and best wishes Margaret Ann Diocesan President Faith & Policy Co-ordinator
